Home to a magnificent, 30-foot-long natural marble bridge, the only of its kind in North America.. Just before entering the city of North Adams, turn north on Route 8 and watch for signs for Natural Bridge State Park?home of the only water-carved natural marble bridge in North America.

Formed nearly half a billion years ago, this wonder consists of black and white rock similar to that found in the Southwest. The bridge is 30-feet long and well worth a roll of film.

The gorge is home to Hudson Brook, which flows through a dam onto stunning marble ledges.
