reality. When I lived there, before it was fit for "human" habitation. No heat in the Berkshires, with base temp in the teens plus the windchill often made for long cold winters. Especially when "superdad" was skiiiiiing in killington ALL, and yes I(his son) was there, ALLLLLL Winter. thanks "dad".

no frills-high cost. For the price this was a very disappointing experience. House was barebones. Pool covered, chair cushions lacking. The proprieter was nice but we had to ask if we wanted to have him take the cover off the pool-it wasn't ready for use (in hot August) nor inviting at all.

Food was average (you can choose your breakfast on an order form). Living room cold and uncomfortable. Funny smell in our room and bathroom (which reminded us of a restaurant bathroom).

Short walk to Tanglewood but across from a gas station.

Looking forward to returning. Far exceeded my expectations. Very comfortable and relaxing. Everything possible was done to accomodate me.

Wonderful. The Chesapeake was wonderful. Quiet, peaceful and perfectly located. I particularly enjoyed John's outstanding service and sitting by the pool.
