Quintessentially Perfect. Beautiful setting and unique rooms with antiques and some with fireplaces. Very friendly and helpful innkeepers. Breakfast is delicious. Location couldn't be better -- central to Jacob's Pillow, Tanglewood, Outlet shops and the Turnpike, yet cozy and country atmosphere. Huge stone hearth and historic elegance. My favorite place in the Berkshires.

Visitor become friends.
Quiet and secluded, yet convenient to entertainment, museums, etc., with easy access to the Mass. Pike.
Rooms are unique, with all modern amenities.
Breakfast is a most enjoyable experience. The food is delicious, and prepared personally by the owners.
The overall ambience of the Jonathan Foote 1778 House is such that the guests feel they are part of the family. We are frequent visitors!
