The Scene
Built in 1832 as a farmhouse, this inn is now the kind of place where visitors like to unwind on the large wraparound porch or stroll around the grounds. It was named for the wild goose that inhabited the area in earlier times and rests on four acres of beautiful, green Berkshire countryside.

Rooms are distinctly decorated, and many display antiques and handmade quilts. Since a few of the private baths are located across the hall from their rooms, bathrobes are supplied. The outdoor garden and picnic tables invite dining alfresco, and a full breakfast including hot entree is served in the dining room.
