The Best Italian in the berkshires, The Best.... This our "To Go" place for a great meal. We go there often with my wife and brother inlaw. He lives in NY city and he can't wait to come home for a meal at Mazzeo's. Everything is great from the service to the apps to the meals and with Harp and Brian at bar you can't miss. Oh yeah the new location will blow you away no more driving around in circles to get a parking spot...

Great Meal Great Service. I went to Mazzeo's on the recommendation of my sister. The service was excellent, our waiter was knowledgeable and didn't rush us. Our entrees were delicious. We had an appetizer of mushrooms begniet (sp?) to die for. My only regret was that I was too full to have dessert. We look forward to going back again.

BEST Itailian Cuisine in Pittsfield. Back in the 50's and 60's, great Italian restaurants abounded in Pittsfield. Sadly, after the downsizing of GE, the local Italian restaurants went out of buisiness.

Like the Phoenix from the ashes, the Mazzeo's, a well know and respected community family, grabbed the guidon and became the best Itailan restaurant in Pittsfield, bar none.

Housed in an old, rectangular brick building, a former ethnic club in a dodgy part of town, Mazzeo's can cater to anything from a romantic meal for two or a large wedding. The waitstaff is very local and very good.

The food is extraordinary! For lack of a better phrase, "Old Man" Mazzeo (and I mean that in the BEST of ways) greets you, seats you and checks on you throughout your stay. You will be remembered the next time you come.

Not overly expensive for the meal, but maybe for the location.

Call for availability and reservations, the place can fill up quickly!

jjb. Great meal and service. Owner checked on us to make sure all was good. Dinner for 3 with 2 drinks and tip less than a hundred dollars and a lot of food went home with us.

italian at its best. an incredible family owned italian restaurant!! wonderful food, great atmosphere, good prices, and wonderful service. a must visit if you're going to be spending any time in the berkshires. a real treat!
