Good pie!.
Not sure what the last reviewer was talking about -- I think the food is every bit as good as ever and this place is simply nostalgic for me. The kind of place I would take close friends from out of town that had already hit the bigger name establishments and were looking for something local and authentic.

Family-owned restaurant with a full bar serves affordable pizza and Italian dishes..
In Short
Entering the small family-friendly restaurant, the main dining area is located to the left while a bar is found to the right. Guests can enjoy their meal at the bar as well. Notable dishes include the eggplant parmesan priced at $6.95, which includes a large salad, bread and a large portion of baked eggplant with your choice of pasta. Carafes of wine or bottles can be purchased at reasonable prices to accompany any meal.

Used To Be Good.
Back in "the day" when this restaurant was just "The Rainbow Restaurant" it was a late 40's/50's era Italian family run "bizziness!"
In the late nineties it became "Over the Raibow." Still a good place to eat, old school and great service.
Since it's acquistion a few years back by a retired detective/entrepenauer, it has gone way South! The regular 'regulars' are gone & the place suffers from lack of knowledgeable kitchen help and waitstaff.
Parking is poor and the location, right accross the street from a Common where crimes are very "common"
makes this a "go somewhere else" type of place.
Rated 'Good For Kids' because kids will eat ANYTHING with sauce and cheese!
