Nice bedding, friendly staff, and
manager that accomodates special needs and requests. Nice early morning breakfast but also walking-distance convenient to great coffee and breakfast and traveler-friendly supermarket. Short walk to nice restaurant. Stayed here for several days and was impressed with the value--extremely clean and comfortable and reasonable.

I basically just needed this place to
sleep. It was right off the main road at the end of Pittsfield (on the Lenox line). It was close to some decent places to eat, and was quiet and fairly comfortable.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn one night
in mid-July. We usually stay at Marriott/Hilton type hotels, but went with the Comfort Inn based on the review on another site. We were traveling with two adults and two teenagers in the room, so rooms with double beds (instead of queen beds) make things a little tight. The baseboard type A/C was a little noisy when the fan came on. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Many of the hotels in Pittsfield seem to sit right on the highway. The nice thing about the Comfort Inn is that it sits back off the road, buffering you from the traffic noise. There are several nice restraurants close and the hotel has a nice complimentary breakfast in the morning (juice, coffee, doughnuts, cereal, bagels, and yogurt).

Having just returned from a night's
stay at the Comfort Inn, Pittsfield (second time this summer), I'm sharing my thoughts about this hotel where my husband and I have stayed at least 10 or 12 times. We originally chose this hotel for its value (especially compared with other motels in the area) and its proximity to Tanglewood, our main reason for repeat visits to the Berkshires.
We are always pleased with the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. We have found the rooms to be quiet and we sleep well, without worrying about outside noises. The hotel is set back and up on a hill above the road.
As for the breakfast area, it is quite small. We have found it difficult at times to find a seat. The selections include yogurt, cereal, make-your-own Belgian waffles, toast, bagels, sausages, juices, fruit. Nothing spectacular, but quite adequate for most people - and it's included in the cost of the stay, so we have no problem with that!
Other than an occasional breakfast crowd, our stays have always been very good experiences. I would definitely recommend the Comfort Inn!

Some wear and tear in a few spots but
the room was clean. Not a bad place to stay for the night if you are looking for an inexpensive room. Plus they do have a complimentary hot breakfast bar.

The location is very convenient and
while the lobby and outside don't look like much, our room was perfectly fine. Staff was nice, room had been updated with a granite sink and newer furnishings and everything was nice and clean (except the quilt, but if you travel at all you know...
